SOLUTION: In this method, a fiber-reinforced product (10) of a shape of a metal piece, a metal sheet or the like is manufactured of a fiber layer containing a plurality of reinforced fibers (14) disposed parallel to each other with a space therebetween, and a metal. A metal jacket (16) added to the reinforced fibers (14) through a PVD processing (a physical vapor deposition) functions as the metal. The metal and at least one part of the reinforced fibers are bonded with each other by melting the surface of the metal to form a matrix (12) to surround the reinforced fibers (14).
