PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital information system which can input an order with excellent efficiency along doctor's thought when an order regarding a medical treating action at a hospital is inputted, changed, or quit and prevent a medical treatment accident due to mistransmission by telephone communica tion, misselection of an item by a doctor, and forgetful nonselection. SOLUTION: The hospital information system is constituted of a database server 1 which stores patient information, medical treatment information, various tables, etc., a doctor's terminal 3 which is installed in a medical examination room in a hospital and used to input orders such as an injection order, a nurse's terminal 4 which is installed in a nurse corner in the hospital and used to confirm order contents and input a progress state, a bedside terminal 5 which is installed in a ward in the hospital and used to confirm order contents, input a progress state, and input the current condition of a patient, a device group 6 which is installed in the sickroom in the ward and manages vital signs, infusion, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
