Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive paper having a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer on one side, which reduces curling and exerts an excellent runnability and workability. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive paper has a residual curvature of from -40 to 0 m-1in the cross direction of the adhesive paper. For measuring the residual curvature of the adhesive paper, a paper strip having a width of 5 mm and a length of 100 m is cut out from the cross direction of the adhesive paper and is supported by a cantilever by a length of 50 mm, as shown in Fig. 1, at 23°C. By changing the environmental humidity, the moisture content of the strip is changed to generate curling of the strip, and ΔX and ΔY are measured to obtain a curl curvature (K) at each humidity based on the formula: K=2ΔY/(ΔX2+ΔY2). The humidity is successively changed from 50%RH-80% RH-20%RH-80%RH-20%RH-80%RH-20%RH, and the residual curvature, defined as the curl curvature (K20) of the adhesive paper at a humidity of 20%RH at the final cycle, is obtained.
