SOLUTION: (1) The powder composition for the tablet confectionery contains at least one kind of a compounding agent selected from the group consisting of a perfume, a coloring matter, an acidulant, a sweet, vitamins and a functional material, and at least one kind of a vehicle selected from the group consisting of a starch hydrolyzate, a sugar alcohol and an oligosaccharide, having ≤37% composition of sugar having ≥15 polymerization degree of a monosaccharide. (2) The method for producing the powder composition for the tablet confectionery comprises preparing the mixture containing each of the components, and spray-drying the mixture. (3) The tablet confectionery comprises the powder composition (1) for the tablet confectionery, and sorbitol as a main raw material. (4) The method for producing the tablet confectionery comprises mixing the sorbitol as the main raw material with the powder composition for the tablet confectionery obtained by the method (2), and tableting the mixture.
