WALKING PROMOTION KNEE BAND UTILIZING RUBBER TUBE AND PAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a knee band which prevents slipping during wearing of the band, intensifies kick-out in front of the lower thigh during walking and promotes walking by supporting the femoral patella joint and femoral tibia joint. SOLUTION: The knee band is formed by attaching a plurality of central non-stretch cloth portions 4 and end non-stretch cloth portions 5 for freely stretchably holding two rubber tubes 2 in the state of partly exposing 3 the tubes along a longitudinal direction to a stretch cloth section 1 having elasticity; providing annular covering belts 6 at exposed portions 3 of the rubber tubes; turning back the inside surfaces of the rubber tubes 2 to an outer side to make bumps 7 at both ends of the rubber tubes 2; hooking and fixing the bumps 7 into holes 8 narrowed at the centers of a plurality of the cloth portions 5; providing knee flank pads 9 at both ends of the cloth portions 5 and covering these pads with non-slip cloth 10; providing patella pads 11 at the inner sides of both ends of the cloth portions 4 and knee back pads 12 at two pieces of long and short bands branched from the cloth section 1; covering the patella pads 11 and the knee back pads 12 with non-stretch cloth portions 13; longitudinally cutting a cross slit 14 at the central stretch cloth portions 1 between the patella pads 11; and providing hook-and-loop fasteners 15 on the inside surfaces at the long and short ends of two pieces of the branched bands and the outside surfaces at the other end of the stretch cloth portions 1.
