Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a composite material capable of being stably molded even if only a part of a core material is not heated and capable of being suitably used as an eaves trough without generating the buckling or destruction of the core material and the irregularity of mechanical physical properties. SOLUTION: The core material 2 comprises a strip-like body formed by fixing short fibers 21 oriented almost at random by a first thermoplastic resin 22. This core material 2 is bent at a bent angle of a degree not generating deformation and destruction at the normal temperature and subsequently formed into a shape to be almost molded while heated to a temperature higher than the softening point of the first thermoplastic resin 22 and less than a temperature capable of holding the short fibers and the periphery of the core material is coated with a second thermoplastic resin 3 at a temperature lower than the melting point of the first thermoplastic resin 22.
