PIANO KEY SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize contact resistance by reducing the wear amount of a second terminal plate surface due to rotating movement of an opening and closing element. SOLUTION: A rear end edge 24b of the opening and closing element 24 is formed in a V-shape and a contact 24 rotationally moves around the rear end edge 24b touching a support piece 15e of the second terminal plate 15. A groove S1 in which the rear end edge 24b of the opening and closing element 24 fits is provided on a surface of the support piece 15e. The groove S1 has a rectangular section and a width dimension thereof is set smaller than a thickness dimension of the opening and closing dimension of the opening and closing element 24. Since the opening and closing element 24 turns over under a condition that the rear end edge 24b is fitted in the groove S1, slippage of the opening and closing element 24 in turning over can be prevented. Consequently, wear amount of the support piece 15e surface due to rotational movement of the opening and closing element 24 can be reduced as compared to conventional examples and contact resistance of the opening and closing element 24 and the second terminal plate 15 can be stabilized.
