SOLUTION: The electrophotographic printer has a print quantity counting means 16 which counts the quantity of printing forms after printing, a storage means 17 which holds a developing bias alter table in which cumulative print quantities and proper developing biases are related to each other, a comparison decision means 18 which compares the cumulative print quantity counted by the print quantity counting means 16 to determine whether a given value stored in the storage means 17 is reached, and a developing bias control means 19 which controls the variable developing bias power source 12 so that when the comparison decision means 18 determines that the cumulative print quantity reaches the given value, the developing bias is varied to the specified value according to the developing bias alter table.
