PANEL AND PERIPHERAL END-FACE MEMBER FOR PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the coupling and jointing of panels for use in a wall surface of a prefabricated refrigerator, a partition wall and a ceiling surface inside a building, and the like. SOLUTION: This panel is formed by using a first member 2 whose end face is formed with a fitting recessed groove 23, and which serves as a U-shaped cross-section long material equipped with a part 22 corresponding to a peripheral end face of the panel and a part 21 corresponding to the surface and backside of the panel, adjacent to the end face. A second member 3 for use in the coupling of the panels serves as a U-shaped long material; an opening side (a side face part 31) is equipped with a space slightly wider than the groove 23; the second member 3 is formed in such a manner as to be brought into close contact with the inside of the groove 23 when elasticity of the second member 3 makes the space narrower; and a part facing an opening is formed in such a shape as to be closely fitted into the groove 23.
