Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable identification tool by which no large force acts on a fiber-optic cable fitted with the former and which it is easy to attach and detach. SOLUTION: With the use of a base stand and a ring-shaped cable presser, the cable presser is hooked to the base stand and mounted on a cable, and signals or the like for identifying the cable are displayed on then surface of the base stand. Or, a spiral coil is fitted to each end of the base stand, and is mounted on the cable by winding around it. Or, a cable is put through the space of two S-shaped uniform parts to mount the tool on the cable.
