Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain measured results which are almost equal to those obtained when an IC socket is mounted on a mounting substrate. SOLUTION: The IC socket 100 is constituted of a socket main body 11 which holds an IC 5 put in the main body 11 and fasteners 15a which fix the main body 11 to a wiring board 14. A substrate 100A is constituted of the wiring board 14 on which a plurality of lands 13 having contactors 12 brought into contact with the lead terminals 6 of the IC 5 are arranged and nuts 15b. At the time of measuring the electrical characteristics of the IC 5, the IC 5 is put in the recessed section 16 of the main body 11 and held in the put state. Then the lead terminals 6 of the IC 5 are respectively put on the contactors 12 existing on the lands 13 and the main body 11 is fixed to the wiring board 14 with the fasteners 15a and nuts 15b. In this state, the IC 5 is tested for its electrical characteristics. Since the conventionally used long lead wires are eliminated from the inside of the IC socket 100, the L, C, and R between the lead terminals 6 and the pattern of the wiring board 14 become smaller.
