SUPPORT CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety support cap in which there is no fear of dropout easily caused by an impact from the outside such as the contacts of a car and others although manufacture is facilitated by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The support cap is composed of a part manufactured by press molding by using a steel plate from a cap body 1 and a supporter 2, and the cap body 1 is composed of a cover section 11 covering the upper end of a support and a skirt section 12 having a diameter larger than the outside diameter of the support. A plate body made slightly narrower than the inside diameter of the support is mounted vertically on the base of the covering section 11 in the supporter 2. Saw-toothed-shaped bodies 22 in a width slightly wider than the inside diameter of the support are projected at both end sections of the supporter 2 while an upward notched section 23 is formed at the lower end section of the support 2, and the inner dimensions of the notched section 23 are made slightly smaller than the outside dimensions of a through-bolt 31 penetrated to the support in the horizontal direction.
