Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy rooftop-greening method in harmony with the surroundings by which the rooftop-greening of a building is carried out, improving the taking-roof of a plant and elongating the life by improving the endurance of the plant to stresses such as dryness and high temperature and, as a result, the maintenance of the greening of the rooftop is facilitated and the environmental load such as washing out of a chemical fertilizer and agrochemicals is reduced by utilizing symbiotic microorganisms. SOLUTION: This rooftop-greening method comprises installing a greening base including the symbiotic microorganisms of at least one kind of VA mycorrhizal fungi, exogenous mycorrhizal fungi and nitrogen-fixing bacteria on the rooftop, and seeding or transplanting a plant body symbiotically living with the microorganisms in the installed greening base. In other aspect, the rooftop-greening method comprises transplanting the plant symbiotically living with the symbiotic microorganisms of at least one kind of the VA mycorrhizal fungi, the exogenous mycorrhizal fungi and the nitrogen-fixing bacteria in the greening base installed in the rooftop.
