RAINDROP DETECTOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raindrop detector capable of correctly detecting whether or not a raindrop adheres to glass without being affected by external light. SOLUTION: A light emitting diode 101a and a phototransistor 103b are mounted on one side of this raindrop detector 100, and a photo...

Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raindrop detector capable of correctly detecting whether or not a raindrop adheres to glass without being affected by external light. SOLUTION: A light emitting diode 101a and a phototransistor 103b are mounted on one side of this raindrop detector 100, and a phototransistor 103a and a light emitting diode 101b are mounted on the other side thereof. In a line K-K, light generated from the diode 101a enters into a lens of a light guide body and is reflected on the vehicular outside surface of a windowpane, thereafter passes through the lens and is received by the phototransistor 103a. Similarly in a line J-J, light generated from the diode 101b enters into a lens of a light guide body and is reflected on the vehicular outside surface of the windowpane, thereafter passes through the lens and is received by the phototransistor 103b. |
