Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product having a glass layer which can display high antibacterial ability without causing rise in product cost and deterioration of appearance. SOLUTION: The product has the glass layer 10 made of silicate glass on a surface of a base body 7. The glass layer 10 is constituted of a first glass layer 8 at a lower layer side and a second glass layer 9 which is formed at an outer surface side than the first glass layer 8 and contains an antibacterial metal. The second glass layer 9 contains phosphoric acid as an elution permissible component forming a second network structure different from a first network structure formed of silicic acid and can elute the antibacterial metal in water when coming into contact with water.
