Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader that can combinedly read images whose optical resolutions differ from each other. SOLUTION: The image reader is provided with a first optical system comprising first mirrors 18, 19, 20, 21 and a first condenser lens 22, and a second optical system comprising second mirrors 23, 24, a moving mirror 25 and a second condenser lens 26. The magnification of the second condenser lens 26 placed on an optical path of the second optical system is selected to be twice that of the first condenser lens 22, placed on an optical path of the first optical system. When reading a reflection original, the image reader lights a first light source 17 and uses the first optical system to form an image on a photosensor 27, and in the case of reading a transparent original, the image reader lights a second light source and uses the second optical system to form an image on the photosensor 27, then the image reader can read the transparent original with a resolution which is twice that of the reflection original. |
