description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen burning heater improved in mixing of air and hydrogen gas with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A hydrogen introducing pipe 100 is connected to an inlet pipe 130 for supplying air so as to traverse the cross section of the inlet pipe 130 and be located upstream of an opening 90. Mixing with air of hydrogen is accelerated immediately after the hydrogen is injected from the opening of the pipe 100. A mixer 140 is constructed by juxtaposing three orifice plates 141, 142, 143 in this order, each of which is provided with holes. The hole diameter of the individual orifice plates is rendered to be smaller as the plates are located more downstream, and likewise, the number of the holes are increased. Accordingly, the hydrogen gas and the air are subdivided and agitated as they progress downstream. Thus, mixing of hydrogen and air is ensured to cause no heat spot in an electrical heating catalyst 150, and therefore high durability is ensured.
