The image forming device is also provided with a paper size detection means 94 that detects a paper size, an original size detection means 93 that detects an original size, a counter 95 that counts number of originals, and a blank interval setting means that sets a blank interval among the images when the image is formed without overlapping a plurality of the original images onto one paper sheet. The reduction rate is decided on the basis of the total size of the placed originals calculated from number of the originals and the original size, the blank interval among the images, and the paper size and the images on a plurality of the originals are formed on one paper sheet without overlapping.
