description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at lightweight equipment, improvement of clarification efficiency and stabilization of installation status. SOLUTION: This is a water clarification system that an underwater aeration pump 20 is installed on floats 11a and 11b and water is spouted through a contact material 40 installed under the floats. The float 11b supports the pump 20 as a self-floating type, allowing free vertical movement without rendering any impact to the float by spouted water reaction force. The contact material 40 is divided vertically in several tiers, and each of the divided contact materials 40a and 40b is arranged to avoid interfering with each other vertically and is expandable/contractable to follow variable water levels. The circumference of the contact material 40 is enclosed by flexible cylinders 18a and 18b and the clarification efficiency improves by letting water flow from the bottom portion of the contact material 40 to a pump 20 through these cylinders. The contact material 40 is supported by a leg 19a located in the center of the bottom and is freely swingable on the entire circumference by having this leg as a fulcrum. Irrespective of unevenness of the bottom of water w, the apparatus 10 is installed with a stable floatation. |
