Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of the connection for COG, COF or FPC or the like are connected to drive circuits, by minimizing the level differences produced in pad segments and their peripheral parts. SOLUTION: Pixels which includes thin-film transistors(TFTs) are formed as switching elements on element regions which are the central parts of a substrate and gate input pads 110 and data input pads are formed in pad regions, which are the contour parts of the substrate. An organic insulating films is formed over the entire surface of the substrate formed with the TFTs and the pads. This organic insulating film is exposed and developed to form rugged grooves 205 for forming bending at reflection electrodes in the upper part of the insulation film. The organic insulation film is, formed so as to have the level differences to be smaller than those of the other segments formed atop the pads and the segments adjacent to the pads. |
