Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for automobile wherein a circuit board mounting IC chips is miniaturized and connection reliability is improved. SOLUTION: In this control unit for an automobile, semiconductor IC chips for automobile control such as a microcomputer, an operational amplifier and a logic circuit are electrically connected with a conductor pattern of a circuit board, mounted on the board and installed in a case, and the semiconductor IC chip has a heat dissipating means and is electrically connected with the circuit board, by using a plurality of bumps formed on the semiconductor IC chip electrode surface side.
