description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid biased load on brake shoes when operating a brake by a parking brake lever, in a brake drum with a type in which a pair of brake shoes are separated each other and are pushed to a rotary drum via a strut by means of the brake lever arranged in one of the brake shoes. SOLUTION: The parking brake lever 100 integrally provides a lever body 104 and bent-plate portion 108 located approximately parallel with a shoe-web 20 in both surface sides of the shoe-web 20 of the brake shoe 66. The lever body 104 and bent-plate portion 108 are installed in an installing shaft 36, respectively. Further, a pair of engaged portions 112 respectively arranged in the lever body 104 and bent-plate portion 108 are to be brought into contact with a contact face 122 of the strut 102 in both sides of the shoe-web 20 of the brake shoe 66.
