PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extensively reduce cost by decreasing the number of part items and assembling manhours. SOLUTION: This seat for a vehicle is furnished with a seat back free to fell frontward as a lower end is connected to a vehicle floor through a reclining mechanism and a seat cushion 5 a front end of which is connected to the vehicle floor by a link arm 2 to be erected and a rear end of which is connected to a lower end part of the seat back free to revolve, the link arm 2 fells forward interlocked with forward felling of the seat back and the seat cushion 5 is lowered on the vehicle floor, and the forward felled seat back is accumulated on the lowered seat cushion 5. A lateral frame 81A positioned on both sides of the seat cushion 5 and to extend in the longitudinal direction is molded in a roughly cup shaped cross-section to open outside, an upper end part of the link arm 2 is connected to its back surface free to revolve, and an engagement part 85 to engage a skin 56 of the seat cushion 5 with a lower side open edge of the lateral frame 81A is formed.
