MAGIC HAND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual type magic hand capable of softly holding an object located in a distant place with stable force. SOLUTION: A pair of holding members 4 each are formed with a front material 6 and a back material 7 made of a metal thin plate, their tip parts are mutually joined by directing the plate surfaces in the same direction, the base end side of each front material 6 is connected to an operation lever 2 through a connection rod 5, the base end side of each back material 7 is fixed to a haft 3, each front material 6 connected to the tip part of the back material is so energized as to be bent toward the back side by bending the back material 7, and the tip parts of the pair of holding members 4 are set close to or separated from each other by pulling the base end side of the front material 6 toward the hand by the operation lever 2, so that holding force is naturally adjusted by the flexure of the front materials 6 and the back materials 7 forming the holding members 4, and the object can softly and stably be held.
