Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer for simultaneous linear equation, which has a preprocessing process for leading precise calculation in a short time. SOLUTION: The computer is provided with a data input part to which information on the coefficient matrix A of the simultaneous linear equation is inputted, a preprocessing part for obtaining a preprocessing matrix C to the matrix A, an arithmetic part for calculation using the matrix A and the obtained matrix C and the output part of the arithmetic result. The preprocessing part has the first processing part for decomposing the matrix A to partial matrixes D, the second processing part for calculating the norm of the decomposed matrixes D, the third processing part for storing the position of components constituting the matrixes D larger than the value of the norm set in advance among the values of the norms of the calculated matrixes D, the fourth processing part for adding the matrix S with the positional information of the matrix components which becomes non-zero from zero in the case of calculating a matrix S formed based on the stored position of the components and the fifth processing part for obtaining the preprocessing matrix C by calculating the added matrix.
