PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush which shows excellence in performance of bristles in entering between teeth, feelings experienced by a user when the bristles enter between teeth, and durability of the bristles, can be manufactured at about the same cost as an existing toothbrush with a flat cut. SOLUTION: A bristle surface of a toothbrush made by many bundles 3 of bristles is formed by an aligning plural chevrons when looking at the toothbrush from the side of a head part 1. Each of the aligning chevrons is formed by a pair of adjacent bundles 3, 3 of bristles. The chevron is formed only by inclined surfaces 5 (i.e., the above bristle surface), which do not include any parallel planes 7 with a bristled surface 4 on the head part 1. A peak of the chevron formed by a pair of bundles of bristles has an angle θ ranging from 30 degrees to 40 degrees when looking at the toothbrush from the side of the head part 1. The distance (a) between the centers of the bundles 3, 3 of bristles, which make a pair to form a chevron, is made shorter than the distance (b) between the centers of the adjacent bundles of bristles belonging to next chevrons.
