Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce forming errors of the press forming components. SOLUTION: A No.1 face P1 of a workpiece by No.1 face forming surface 32a of a punch 32 and No.1 face forming surface 34a of a pad 34 and a No.3 face P3 by No.3 face forming surface 36a of a die 36 and No.3 face forming surface 30c of a cushion 30 are pressed from the direction crossing orthogonally with each face and, and under such a pressed state (a state of the workpiece W1') the die 36 is further transferred to the downstream side, whereat, by running against an energizing power to the upstream side of a cushion spring 24, a cushion pin 28 is transferred to the downstream side shown by an arrow A. Accordingly, No.3 face P3 of the workpiece W1' moves to the downstream side only by a width (a cushion stroke) L1 and the workpiece changes into a state of W1. Concurrently, a tensile strength is imparted and enlarged along the surface of No.2 face (including the end edge R1) P2 of the workpiece W1. By this way, the spring back of the end edge R1 of the workpiece W1 can be smaller.
