Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal authentication judging apparatus capable of easily judging the authentication of a seal. SOLUTION: The seal authentication judging apparatus includes a seal detecting part 10 having a light source 20 for applying light with a wavelength of around 420 nm to the imprint of a seal, an optical filter 21 allowing the portion of the light reflected from the imprint of the seal and having wavelengths of around 600 nm to pass therethrough, and detection elements 22 and 25 for detecting the light passing through the optical filter 21 to output its detection signal; and a judgement processing part 11 for detecting whether or not fluorescence having wavelengths of around 600 nm, involved in the light reflected from the imprint of the seal, is present, based on the detection signal, and for judging the authentication of the imprint of the applied seal based on the result.
