WATER CLOSET BOWL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet bowl enabling abatement of the noise caused by the discharge of flush water from the water-jet part of a rim water channel and having the excellent capability to clean a bowl, and a method for manufacturing the water closet bowl without needing the working for forming the water- jet part in the case of forming or incurring degradation of workability and an increase in cost. SOLUTION: The water closet bowl is provided with the rim water channel for guiding the flush water to a bowl part in the upper peripheral edge part of the bowl part and characterized as follows: the rim water channel is composed of a ceiling part, a bottom surface part, an inside standing wall part, and an outside standing wall part; a gap is formed in the outside part of the inside standing wall part for the purpose of mounting a hanging wall part installed consecutively to hang down from the ceiling part; and a boundary part between the upper end part of the inside standing wall part and the internal surface of the ceiling part is provided with a communicating part communicating with the gap.
