TACTILE SENSE PRESENTING DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile sense presenting device and its method using a tactile sense data generating device capable of expressing tactile sense at the time of performing a 'tracing' operation or 'shifting' operation using a tactile sense/pressure sense presenting device that is impossible heretofore. SOLUTION: This tactile sense presenting device is provided with a storage device for storing three-dimensional volume data composed of voxel values, the tactile sense/pressure sense data generating device for generating tactile sense data based on the voxel values stored in the storage device, a driving circuit connected to the tactile sense data generating device for converting the inputted tactile sense data into a tactile sense presentation driving signal, and a tactile sense presenting means for presenting the tactile sense based on the tactile sense presentation driving signal.
