description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mapping a channel in a convolution encoded time division multiplexing mode in a downlink by using at least one variable convolutional code rd in a transmission system provided with a plurality of stations. SOLUTION: In the transmission system provided with the plurality of stations, each station performs transmission by at least one channel which forms a plurality of uplink channels of N pieces to be transmitted by an uplink information bit rate Ru toward a destination station. The destination station performs the transmission by the downlink information bit rate Rd in at least one downlink channel so as to satisfy relational expression Rd=N×Ru. The number of the uplink channels N changes responding to change of the convolutional code rd added to the downlink channel Cd, so, the N is an integer multiple of the variable convolutional code rd.
