description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instant printer which is capable of not only rapidly printing out digital image data but is reasonable in the price of the printer itself and does not require the labor and cost for maintenance. SOLUTION: The unexposed photosensitive sheet drawn out of an unexposed photosensitive sheet holding roller 22 is exposed by irradiating the same with the light modulated in accordance with the digital image data from a light source 26 and thereafter this sheet is superposed on an image receiving sheet by a developing roller pair 28 and is thrust to rupture pods. While the photosensitive sheet is transported zigzag under temperature conditions of about 35 deg.C in the state that a development auxiliary liquid is held developed between the photosensitive sheet and the image receiving sheet 42, the dyestuff forming materials formed by the photosensitive sheet 40 are diffused and transferred to form the images on the image receiving sheet 42 and after the warpage of a pair of the sheets 40 and 42 is eliminated, the photosensitive sheet 40 is peeled by a peeling roller 32 and the surface of the image receiving sheet 42 is dried by the hot air from a heater 37, following which the sheet is cut by a cutter 36 and a print 44 is discharge from a discharge port 38. |
