Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pasty composition with curry flavor, usable for a cooked bread, a pizza, a dough nut, a pie or the like, and excellent in a flavor and texture. SOLUTION: This retorted pasty composition with the curry flavor is produced by using a curry powder obtained by formulating sterilized spices, and using a roux formed by using an oil and fat containing 5-35% solid fat at 10 deg.C and 0-20% solid fat at 20 deg.C. The composition has good perfume-exuding properties, juicy feeling, good meltability in the mouth, and good texture.
