description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify connecting and wiring operation of optical cables, to facilitate exchange and extension of a number of coated optical fiber connections inside a cabinet, and to safely carry out the storage of cable connecting parts and coated optical fiber extra length through the simplified installation of cords. SOLUTION: A collective coated optical fiber tray 3 is internally mounted in the cabinet 1 through an attachment 5; this tray 3 is constituted such that a number of coated optical fiber trays 2 are stacked plurally, with each tray connected with a hinge 4 so as to be freely opened and closed to form a set, and that the tray 3 is capable of storing a connector and a coated optical fiber extra length individually all together for each single core branched from the coated optical fiber. This collective coated optical fiber tray 3 is installed through the attachment 5 on a base plate 10 provided in the cabinet 1, while an individually storing tray 30 for plural coated optical fibers id provided on the upper level of the coated optical fiber trays 2. In addition, a protective sheet 33 is freely attachably/detachably installed on the upper face of the storing tray 30 through engaging members, e.g. an engaging lug 31 and an engaging hole 32. As a result, lead wiring is safely protected, the connection processing/handling is simplified for a drop wiring from pull-in wiring, and the operability is greatly improved. |
