Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light wave vertical cross section tomography observation apparatus enabling observation of an internal three-dimensional solid image of an object in an actual time over a wide dynamic range. SOLUTION: In this light wave vertical cross section tomography observation apparatus, a two-dimensional lock-in image intensifier is provided, so that a multiplication image can be observed. The two-dimensional lock-in intensifier is provided with a photocathode 2 for converting incident image light into photoelectron flow modulated two-dimensional spatially by square-law detection, a microchannel plate 6 provided with a front face part having a multiplication secondary electron producing function, based on secondary electron emission of the photoelectron flow and a back electrode in a back face part, and a fluorescent screen 7, having concurrently a fluorescent conversion action of the two-dimensional multiplication secondary electron flow based on the multiplication secondary electron producing function and an action superimposing and accumulating electrons in a fixed cycle on an excited fluorescent level in a fluorescent medium, when the secondary electron flow is an alternating current.
