description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method of a partial loading rate of a tooth of an interlocking mechanism, capable of obtaining simply the highly accurate partial loading rate of the tooth by using a size inspection result of a product. SOLUTION: The maximum value (Max Gap Delta) from among the sums of gaps between a tooth and adjacent teeth in some meshing state based on the size inspection result, and obtaining of the partial loading rate (PEAKING FACTOR) of the tooth by an operation relative to the maximum value of the sums of the gaps is repeated, to thereby find a correlation between them. If a shape size inspection result of the tooth is known by using the correlation, the maximum value of the sum of the gaps in each meshing state in the mesh mechanism is obtained, and the partial loading rate of the tooth relative to the maximum value of the sums of the gaps can be set simply, and the partial loading rate of the tooth in the mesh mechanism is set from an obtained probability distribution of the partial loading rate of the tooth. Hereby, the partial loading rate of the tooth used for a design of the mesh mechanism is corrected into a more realistic value, or the partial loading rate of the tooth used for calculation of the life of the mechanism is corrected into a more actual value, to thereby enable execution of a highly accurate design or service life calculation.
