PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively manage commuter tickets at a company even when the commuter tickets are made into non-contact commuter tickets. SOLUTION: This non-contact commuter ticket updating device is constituted of a storage means to store information that update of expiration date of the non-contact commuter ticket transmitted from the outside is not allowed together with identification information of the non-contact commuter ticket, an extracting means to extract the identification information of the non-contact commuter ticket communicated with a main body of the non-contact commuter ticket updating device, a collating means to collate the extracted identification information with the identification information regarding the information that the update of the stored expiration date is not allowed and an update control means to inhibit the update of the communicated expiration date of the non- contact commuter ticket when collation matches and to update the communicated expiration date of the non-contact commuter ticket when the collation does not match.
