description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decrease in a lifetime due to an aging deterioration of snap-off properties of a screen becoming remarkable in association with an increase in a size of a screen platemaking. SOLUTION: An elastic elongation of the screen 18 at a printing time for sliding a squeegee at a reinforced strip-like element 30 provided between an end of the screen 18 and a sliding range S is suppressed by the element 30. Thus, when the screen 18 is pressed down toward a surface to be printed at the printing time, an elastic elongation amount of a residual part of the screen 18 is increased by an amount corresponding to a suppression of the elastic elongation of a reinforced part R. Accordingly, a tension and hence a restoring force operating at the screen 18 is enhanced in one direction along a sliding direction of the squeegee. Therefore, even when a small plastic elongation occurs at the screen 18, the restoring force at the printing time is held at a sufficiently high value. Hence, a time up to an impossible use of the screen 18 due to a decrease in the restoring force can be lengthened. |
