PASTE FEEDER FOR CIGARETTE PRODUCING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a pasting position without stopping the operation and facilitate a change in the pasting position when the pasting onto a cigarette paper becomes undersirable a cigarette producing machine. SOLUTION: This paste feeder for the cigarette producing machine is obtained by installing a paste nozzle 16 arranged in the direction intersecting the running direction of the cigarette paper P at right angles, making the paste nozzle 16 movable in a vertical plane with a bidirectional feeding mechanism, driving the paste nozzle 16 with servo motors 42 and 44, including a lifting and lowering base 30 and a stage 36 in the feeding mechanism, making the lifting and lowering base 30 liftable and lowerable relatively to a frame box 18, making the stage 36 horizontally movable relatively to the lifting and lowering base 30, moving the lifting and lowering base 30 and the stage 36 with the precision feeding mechanism (e.g. at 0.01 mm pitch) using a ball screw 50, or the like, driving the servo motors 42 and 44 based on a signal from a controller and numerically controlling the positioning of the paste nozzle 16 in the cigarette producing machine.
