DRY CELL AND MOUNTING NETHOD OF ITS LABEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a label by simple means without using an insulation ring, and to prevent unprepared short circuit between an outer casing as a cathode and an anode terminal. SOLUTION: The dry cell has a cylinder-shaped outer casing 6, having a bottom, with a cathode terminal 6a, and an anode terminal 16, formed at an open end 8a of the outer casing 6. A label 5 made of heat shrinking film is fixed to the outer easing 6, and the open end 8a is covered by the label 5. A reinforcing layer 18 with dielectric strength is laid at the position corresponding to the open end 8a of inside surface of the label 5 along the peripheral of the label.
