PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform timer recording reservation for repeatedly and continuously recording the same recorded program through simple operation in a short time by enabling timer recording reservation setting while utilizing various kinds of program information added to broadcasting signals. SOLUTION: While broadcasting signals from a receiving tuning part 2 are recorded by a recording and reproducing part 3, the program information such as the title, channel number and broadcasting time of the program of broadcasting signals under recording is extracted from the broadcasting signals supplied to an information reading part 6 and stored in a storage part 7 by an equipment operation control part 5. When a user desires setting of the same timer recording reservation as contents existent in a recording history in the past out of that history, concerning a program having the same information as that program information, the equipment operation control part 5 supplies program information based on a program found out of the latest broadcasting schedule information contained in the broadcasting signals received by the receiving tuning part 2 at present by retrieval to a reservation execution managing part 8 as new timer recording reservation information and automatically performs timer reservation setting.
