SOLUTION: The device has a structural feature that it has a casing 10 having plural partition chambers 13 communicated alternately with an upper cap side and the bottom plate side or the opposed side wall side and provided with a housing 14 having ultraviolet transmissivity in the partition chamber 13, a photocatalytic medium 20 housed in the partition chamber 13 and in contact with the combustion waste gas discharged from the incineration furnace and a light source 30 mounted in the cylindrical body 14 and for emitting an excited light exciting the photocatalytic medium 20.
