Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming member for an ink-jet head which can print with a high resolution and can be inexpensively and easily manufactured in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The defoaming member is constituted of a tubular member 129 which is inserted to an ink channel in the ink-jet head and is formed of a material which passes the air without passing ink. One end of the tubular member 129 is sealed and the other end is connected to a negative pressure source.
