Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure voltage required in driving light emitting elements and reduce a voltage loss, a size of a main body and manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A voltage Vdd outputted from a battery 12 loaded on a car is selectively applied to data electrodes 8b when an organic EL panel 8 is driven, and a voltage Vss outputted from a secondary power circuit 14 is selectively applied to scan electrodes 8a. The secondary power circuit 14 includes a pole reversing type of converter 13 and outputs the voltage Vss having polarity (negative) opposing to that of voltage Vdd outputted form the battery. Therefore, when the organic EL display panel 8 is driven, a relatively large potential difference is applied selectively between a pair of electrodes of an organic EL element 1, wherein the potential difference is the sum of the absolute value of voltage Vdd outputted from the battery 12 to the absolute value of voltage Vss outputted from the secondary power circuit 14.
