DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING DOCUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document preparing method by which data generated by a second program and segmented are received and pasted to a designated position in a page which is displayed by the first program and also a range to be fetched is easily recognized when data are segmented. SOLUTION: In the document preparing method by which a part of another page is pasted onto the displayed page, a drawing area to which data to be fetched from another document/drawing are pasted on the displayed page is generated by the first document preparing program and size information of the drawing area is set. The second document preparing program is started, the size information is given to the side of the second document preparing program, a fetching frame is displayed in accordance with size information on the displayed page by the second program, the frame is moved and data in the fetching frame are given to the side of the first program.
