description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which can be made easily and at a low cost, even if it has a new shape. SOLUTION: A control panel housing 1 as a container comprises a surface panel 2 of a bottom, and sidewalls 3 and 4 stood along the outer circumference of the surface panel 2. A plurality of grooves 33 are formed in parallel with each other in the sidewalls 3 corresponding to the curved parts of the outer circumference of the surface panel 2. The grooves 33, etc., are formed in the sidewalls 3 consisting of belt shape flat plates by cutting, and the sidewalls 3 are bent along the outer circumference of the surface panel 2 and fixed to make the control panel housing 1 with partially bent surfaces. Therefore, a mold is not necessary to make the control panel housing 1. Furthermore, as the grooves 33 are ended in the neighborhoods of the upper and lower edges of the side walls 3, the sidewalls 3 can be bent smoothly, without being folded down and the sidewalls 3 can be fixed to the surface panel 2 stably.
