Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily equalize temperature of a tube wall of a tubular ultraviolet lamp along length. SOLUTION: In this temperature control method, outside air is sent from a blower through a blow damper 13a opened to a specified opening into a gap between two of an upper and a lower baffle plates 12 in a lamp house 10 to go through the gap between the baffle plates 12, flow into reducers 16 provided at a front edge side and a rear edge side of the baffle plates 12, increase its blow speed by action of the reducers 16 and become thin air currents, and be discharged from openings in the reducers 16, so it is uniformly blown to tubular walls of socket parts at both ends of respective ultraviolet lamps 11 only. Temperature of the tubular walls of the lamps 11 is thus easily equalized along their length. Temperature around the socket parts at both ends of the lamp in the lamp house 10 is detected by a temperature measuring resistance 15a, and opening of the blow damper 13a and a discharge damper 14a is automatically adjusted by a command from a temperature regulator 15, thereby blow quantity and discharge quantity of outside air into/out of the lamp house 10 can be automatically regulated.
