At the time of first use, a time until a flat belt repeats a reciprocation deviation to a width direction to obtain a stable traveling is shortened as compared with the case where a deviation detection member attached to a movable shaft end portion 3a of the deviation control roller is positioned at a position deviated from an equilibrium position. When the stable traveling is obtained, a deviation control of the flat belt is carried out from the position at the time of next use by engaging a rack with the pinion 33. |
