SOLUTION: Pilot Channel is generated by successive multiplication by a Walsh code 0 and a position corresponding to a mobile station is perforated with an identifier and broadcasted from a base station. For example, 80 msec of Pilot Channel is regarded as one slot and 20 msec is regarded as one frame; and four frames are the basic unit of one slot. The length (m) of a pilot signal and the length (n) of a perforation part are all set at the same ratio. Identifiers are inserted into this Pilot Channel in units of 20 msec. The mobile station receives a paging identifier of Pilot Channel and retrieves and receives the paging channel of a next slot.
