DUAL LOCK STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING TERMINAL IN PLUG TYPE CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug type connector for speedily incorporating and fixing a connecting terminal to a housing with secureness. SOLUTION: In a plug type connector 1, a connecting terminal 3 which is inserted from the back portion 6 of a terminal storage chamber in a housing 2, supports at one side surface of a casing 24a of a contact portion 24, a first lock piece 25a to be locked to a first engaging portion 10b at the inner surface of the housing 2, and supports, at the other side surface thereof, a second lock piece to be locked to a second engaging portion in a slide 4. The slide 4 is provided with a detecting projection 13 along a bent movable contact groove. Since the first engaging portion 10b is disposed flush with the second engaging portion, the connecting terminal 3 can be dually locked to the first and second engaging portions 10b by the detecting projection 13 via the casing 24a in the slide 4.
